FENDER FRONTMAN 15R AMP REVIEW

These little mini black face amps can deliver! The "R" stands for reverb. So these will work great for some of you surf guitar guys! It has one eight inch speaker that projects well. Built for practice or a small jam sessions, these will stand up well day in ay out. But be careful with the knobs and inputs..., they're very brittle and won't hold up to abuse. Fender obviously save money on these items. But don't be discouraged about that,  these are incredible values for the money (retailing for around 100 to 130).
The controls onboard are: 1/4 input, normal volume, gain, selector drive push button switch, drive volume, treble, middle, bass, reverb, RCA aux in(which can come in handy for small amplification situations), head phones/out 1/4 jack. A standard computer power cord is used for the power source.
Overall, these 15R's gets two thumbs up.... better in my opinion than the 15g's. They're are more diverse with the reverb built in. It has the Fender "sound"...... not the power to set the world on fire, but that's not what it's meant for. If you need a good practice amp with basic controls... this is near the top of the pack. Buy this like new, out of the box, Fender Frontman 15R here.

FENDER FAT STRATOCASTER REVIEW

The Mexican fat Strat is a blast to play. With the dual humbucker in the bridge position, these babies deliver a "fatter" deeper tone. Great for blues! Think Stevie Ray Vaughn. They come with jumbo frets and Mexican standard hardware.  If you dig that deep "out of phase" sound, than you'll love this work horse. Thx, Surf geek!
